Cromarty Links
From the area in Cromarty called The Links, both North and South Sutor and the mouth of the Cromarty Firth are observed. The quiet, serene location has witnessed a substantial military presents during World War I and to a lesser degree World War II, with gun emplacements and coastal batteries built to protect and defend the naval anchorage within the firth. Evidence of which can still be viewed on the Sutors today.
