Cherry Trees, Avoch

The corner opposite the Station Hotel in Avoch is locally known as Lazy Corner, a place in the village where the men would gather to smoke a pipe or two and get “the craic”. Today the site is noticeable for the sails sculpture, marking the historic importance of fishing to the village.
