Avoch from Braehead

From the elevated position at the top of the Braehead steps, a view of Avoch streeties unfolds. These small parallel streets bear the family names of the Mackenzie lairds of Avoch, John Street, James Street, George Street, and Margaret Street. The Dock area, near Henrietta Bridge, has some of the earliest fisher housing in Avoch.
